I finally figured it out, and changed the tree height to 20, and the two are now identical, and just the way I wanted. Thanks to everyone.

Once again, I want the XE tree spacing to match the 2009 spacing, not the other way around. I do not see an .ini file in XE, so changing the tree height has not been tried. Both are Tree View. Forgive this strange question ... in XE, the vertical spacing between folders listed in the "C" drive (on the left side of the screen) is very narrow when compared to the same view in 2009.02b. Is there a way to increase the leading between the folders listed vertically? Thank you.

Sorry for the simple question, I am very new at this. Is there a way to view Desktop files? I use the "tree view" but I can only view a drive, like "C". Thank you.
