Re: FC not refreshing. FC problem? or Win10 problem?

I am also experiencing a similar problem. W11 Pro,22H2, 64-bit, FC 892 Donor I have started using Cryptomator, which (long story short) allocates a drive letter to each encrypted/decrypted vault. For example, I have a Cryptomator folder/vault "MYVAULT" in my OneDrive folder on my C: drive....

Re: Network Drives not woking

That's good. Apart from the contrary setting, my situation and solution (seen in Explorer, but needs FC restart) are identical.

Re: Network Drives not woking

I think I have answered my own question in some respects, but not necessarily with all the answers I needed. Although I show Network among my locations, I could not access it, as it threw an SMB error. My Network setting was "Use Free Commander for network loading". I changed this to "...

Re: Network Drives not working

Somewhat later in time, but I have a similar problem, but only in "seeing" my new NAS drive immediately after I have selected it in Free Commander. W11 Pro, 22H2, FC 891 64-bit. I can map my NAS network shares/storage in Free Commander. as described in the Help link above, and these will a...

Re: Email and FreeCommander

I didn't want to affect my installed FC 64-bit version, which is set up exactly as I want it, so I have downloaded both the 32-bit and 64-bit Portable versions of FC, and extracted them to a USB flash drive. I have used both versions off the flash drive to open and share PDFs via Foxit and docx Word...

Re: Email and FreeCommander

Perhaps the problem is, that you're using 64-bit FC version and 32-bit Thunderbird version, I'm not sure, but you can try the same with 32-bit FC version. Thanks for your reply. They are both 64-bit versions, with Thunderbird being 102.5.0 (64-bit). I doubt it will tell us anything useful, but I co...

Email and FreeCommander

Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, release 22H2, FreeCommander 64-bit, release 878 First, this isn't a problem or serious bug, but a question to which there may be an answer that I haven't found; perhaps a setting in FreeCommander. From time to time, I need to send files I'm working on, using my email client T...

Re: Error occurring FC 867 release

@Marek

868 installed and works perfectly.

Thanks for fixing it so quickly. Free Commander is without doubt the most-used programme on my machine.

Peter

Re: Error occurring FC 867 release

866 runs perfectly, and nothing much has changed on this system between 866 and 867. However, as mentioned, perhaps the log, which I have emailed, may provide the answer.

Error occurring FC 867 release

Win10 Pro 64 bit, FC Ver 867 I have encountered the popup error screen (Continue FC etc.) since updating from 866 to 867. I have emailed the error log to you. The problem arises thus:- - start FC 867 normally - minimise to taskbar - maximise from taskbar icon - error occurs I have meanwhile reverted...

Re: FC 827-64 bit-Splitter bar - Copy and Move icons

Try the option "use big icons", if not already set. When you do not set this, the symbols will not have the arrows. Thanks. I've got it set to "big icons", and switching between "big" and "not big" makes no difference. I got rid of my photo-sharing facilities...

Re: FC 827-64 bit-Splitter bar - Copy and Move icons

To insert an image the image has to be on a server someplace, i.e., imgur or onedrive, etc. Are these the icons you're looking for https://hagq6w.bn.files.1drv.com/y4mUqveYk6HNozGw1k_xou_2zrKNdYPEYL9mr6DitMaCp8sl9qJmd0kfChZON1QePeRpz1ybygXuBbtxcuStxDCV-rwbq7DD28oB--t1NE-Ec0hljmUou9tNKkEF6Tfn_Zy-Hc9...

Re: FC 827-64 bit-Splitter bar - Copy and Move icons

Thanks for reply. I think I understand what you've said, but I'm still not able to sort this out correctly.

I have run through this completely, and have a series of screen shots to show exactly what I mean. However, there doesn't seem to be any method of posting them directly here.

FC 827-64 bit-Splitter bar - Copy and Move icons

It used to be that the Copy and Move icons had a horizontal blue and red arrow respectively, and would point right or left to the target pane (folder etc.) for this operation. I can no longer see these, and have been through setting up the splitter to try to get them back. I can't see them anywhere....
