Re: Icons for toolbars and menus

Well, I see I'm in the minority on this thread, but I like the new icons very much.
I suppose some people (like me) just get so used to something that it becomes second nature and we don't want to go through the process of acclimatizing ourselves all over again. Or, perhaps we are just lazy. :-)

Re: Icons for toolbars and menus

I dislike the new icons very much. I know we can revert to the old ones in the next release, but it would be much better to be able to choose (or design) your own icon sets.

Re: 730 - Network dialog issue

I only recently set up a server at home and have found the problem still exists (W7 x64 FXCE 750). Some other file managers I have tested wait for the password to be completed before trying to load the list of files on the server. I have looked through all settings but cannot find anything to change...

744 "Show main menu as popup menu" bug

FCXE v744 x64, Win7 Pro, x64. If I customise the main action toolbar so as to have an icon for View/"Show main menu as popup menu" then using it and looking under 'Folder' gives me two entries that do not appear under the main menu folder list: Systemsteuerung > ssss Start > ssss This happ...

Re: Quick Viewer - able to define size?

Thank you, Marek. With the definable file types now I can choose to have the quick viewer opening (and remembering to use) all of the opposite panel.

Quick Viewer - able to define size?

I often use ctrl-Q to quickly check a file using the internal viewer. The trouble is it never remembers the last size used, so my panel size is always very small and I always have to resize it. Is there a way I can have the quick viewer set to always use the entire opposite panel (full size)?

64 bit menu bug

I am using FC 2009.02b build 418 donor (Win7) and have problems with the 64 bit menu. I edited the ini file to use the 32 bit menu as described but when FC does an auto save of the config, it removes my added line and reverts me back to the 64 bit menu. The line has disappeared from the ini file. If...

Yes, I got this problem, having done a clean install of Win7 from Vista nearly two weeks ago. It's associated with the abominable UAC of Win7, which is supposed to be more user friendly than in Vista, but in my experience is in some ways still more perverse. Owing to a serious bug in Win7's UAC, ch...

Is anybody using FC with Win 7? Is this behaviour able to be replicated?

This is already implemented!? Select the folders with Space key - to select the folders and show the size of all selected folders automatically, another way - to show the size of desired folder - Ctrl+F9 (customizable), then go to another folder and press Ctrl+F9 again... Yikes! My apologies. <blush>

Cannot rename files in a system dir

If I try to rename a file in a system dir (eg C:\Program Files) FC won't let me. Other file managers pop up a Win 7 administrator confirmation but FC gives me an "Access is denied" message. This happens whether I use the dialog box for renaming or not. I cannot find any settings related to...

Directory size for individual directories

Sometimes you need to know the size of one or two directories but not the whole file list, which can (depending on contents) take a while to calculate. How about a button that will show directory sizes for only those directories you have selected?
