Is this working now?

There is a System Directories icon in the toolbar.

But "Program Files" is not considered a system directory!

It took me a long time (several hours, in fact) to understand the above replies. If you have already have Office installed on your PC, you don't need any plugins. Just select the file and press F3 to see the file in the viewer. If you have office installed, then ppt and xls files can also be viewed ...

Thanks for the suggestion. Hope it does not interfere with the layout shortcut. Perhaps the same may be possible with Autohotkey also, which I use occasionally. http://www.autohotkey.com/

Is it possible to change the favorite folders shortcut from Shift+Ctrl+1, to Alt+1, etc?

I had been using Turbonavigator for quite some time and got used to this shortcut.

I would also like to have 7zip supported. 7zip is released under GNU LGPL, hence using it should not be a problem?!
