I see that most folders have the read-only attribute, but the folders that don't show up have the hidden attribute grayed out?
I checked Google and this worked:
attrib -H -S -R d:\*.* /D

FreeCommander hit a hitch and wanted me to report it. Fine. But it then tried to open Outlook. Outlook prompted me to set it up. I don't use Outlook and my system is set up to send mail with Gmail through Chrome.

My (Samsung U3) media player shows up under Windows Explorer, but not in Free Commander. How does one access a drive like this? FC would be ideal for copying to and from the media player.

well, it did not work at all for me, I had to step back to the earlier 2007 version of FC. I see the red cross, but can access the drive. I just wish it would show as mounted, I mount a couple of network drive when the machine starts, but they seem to remain supposedly unmounted until explorer has ...
There's me wanting to do a search for network drives. Some search algorithms seem to think that I want to search for network OR drives, which I must admit is not very logical for me. SO of course I have to redo the search for ALL terms... but then you discover that the spam paranoia really has taken...
