I can partly confirm.

on my machine 'File name' and 'Timestamp format' seem to be highlighted in the multi-rename window.
but only 'File name' is truly active and 'Timestamp format' is a false positive.

as far as I know it's not possible via GUI.
but the Quick starter repository file is a simple .txt-file and you can easily edit it in any text editor.
you can't change color, but you can label your entries.

I can confirm your findings - looks like a bug to me.

you can adjust it.

you could try this:
searchterm1*.pdf;searchterm2*.pdf

cannot confirm, it is greyed out and it doesn't remove items of an inactive panel on my machine

@Karol I changed your findings a bit and added step 2a , please try it. For me it never saves .xxx, if I add step 2a. 1. Unpack the FreeCommanderXE-32-public_portable840.zip in temp folder (e.g. c:\temp\FCXE\) 2. Start c:\temp\FCXE\freecommander.exe 2a Start "Quick Viewer" 3. Open settings...

I'm using ulister-plugin and there are no such problems here on my machine

how do you want to move?
- dragging with mouse?
- shortcut 'Ctrl+X' & 'Ctrl+V'?
- F6 key?

After my upgrade to Win10 (~3weeks ago) I can't do tests on Win7 any more but I'm more than sure that there weren't problems like yours.
