Yup it's working... didn't know you had to upload screenshots to another web site.

I have figured it out...

Add/remove columns and changed auto size to size (byte)s

I would post screenshots, but I don't seem to be able to and I am using the latest FC

This has more than likely been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in a search

How do you get FC to show the files in bytes instead of MB and GB

I changed the MB and GB to [fc_sizeSel] Byte(s) to everything in Status Bar where size was mentioned, but it stills shows MB and GB

I don't know about other versions of windows, but for windows 11... go to settings... click the 3 bars in the upper left and search for color... click choose your accent color... scroll down to custom colors... click view colors... pick the color you want and then done and then in freecommander... c...

I don't have a show/hide main menu... i'm using build 840 Can't figure out how to insert an image, all i have shown are Show - show/hide tool tips unchecked show/hide folders checked show/hide hidden items checked show/hide sytem items checked show command line unchecked shows functions bar checked ...

I accidently lost the top menu buttons, went through the whole settings menu and can't find how to get them back, how do I get them back?

I got it fixed... FC no longer starts when windows starts and is loaded. I uninstalled it completely and deleted all FC folders and files Went through the registry and deleted all that i could related to FC, there were a couple of entries that i couldn't and then rebooted Reinstalled FC and made no ...

i renamed the FC folders and did a fresh install of FC with no changes, rebooted and the fresh FC started about 20 seconds after windows was loaded and no FC in the task manager - startup wonder if there's a glitch somewhere in the registry... i wouldn't even know what to search for it's nothing ser...

i downloaded FC from here

went to the download page, but couldn't find a portable version, i was just going to rename the folder or move it to another drive and try what you suggested with the full version and see what happens.

it's a real shutdown, power light goes out

downloaded Startup Control Panel and no freecommander shown in any of the tabs

guess i'm going to have to live with this or do a complete new reinstall, which would be a real pain, you know where

i can't find a setting in freecommander to turn off auto start when windows starts.

msconfig or task manager doesn't show freecommander under startup to disable

i have mine start up at bootup... takes about 15-20 seconds for it to start once windows 10 is loaded, after that, if i close freecommander and restart it, it's just fine. The same problem is on both my laptops Everything is basically default and i don't even know what tabs are or if i'm using them,...

Please do, i have the same problem since this last public release and i haven't changed changed anything... my setup is basically at default settings and once it's opened, everything is fine.
