I don't understand why you like this behaviour ?
You want to keep the open files secret ?

Opened file(through FC) not visible in Win7 "last used file"
In win7 you can see the last used files (Start / "Last used" /) Typically the *.txt files I opened using FC(doucle-click on file name), are not visible under Start / "Last used" / NB: If I open the files using the Windows-Explorer, I can see these under Start / "Last used&qu...

Re: Searches within MS Office 2010 files
I used the tool again today. And it didn't work ! I disabled the converter, create a new one (exactly the same as the previous one), and it worked. I disabled the new converter, re enable the old one and it also worked. There must be a bug somewhere ! (maybe just the fact that I changed sometime...w...

Usable (XE)
Last little question, the following statement scares me a bit: Updated 27.10.2012 release 604 This is a preview of the future version of FreeCommander. Free Commander & Free Commander XE together under Win7
I noticed that I can install FreeCommander and FreeCommander XE together. G...

Re: Searches within MS Office 2010 files
Oops ! it was my error. With ";" everything works as expected.
Reason why I'm so keen on this function is that it is so badly implemented / not useable in Windows 7.

Re: Searches within MS Office 2010 files
Dear Marek, Thanks for all these informations. I did exactly what you described above (I double checked 3 times). I still couldn't find a specific text string in a *.xlsx (or *.docx) file. I only get a list with some *.xls files, but no *.xlsx. NB: your example is also only with *.doc files, not wit...
