This is not the newest laptop, but still, opening the search dialog shouldn't take 7 seconds. Doesn't matter in which directory I try this. General use of FC is as expected without any delays. FC doesn't open "shell:startup" using "Go to folder" (nothing happens). Should open the "Current User" Startup folder (C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup). Should also work for "shell:common startup" to open the "...

Just to verify: You ONLY changed upper/lower case WITHOUT changing any other part of the filename?

It's true that those files normally cannot exist in one directory. Didn't knew about the flag.

However, there is a difference in those names and each one can exist on its own (just not in the same directory).
Also, Windows Explorer is able to do such a rename without a workaround.
