Copy only folders which do not exist in the target location
Hi all I have a large set of folders (and files) to copy from one location to another, but I need to copy only those folders and subfolders (and files included in them) that are not existing in the target location yet. I cannot simply set the copy to 'skip', because the folders in the target locatio...

Re: Log - Undo workaround feature
+1 I think this is a much needed feature, in one way or another. For instance, I have copied some folders to a large directory today and only then I have realised that I needed to delete some files from these folders (and I couldn't use the search button, as I didn't remember the names of the files ...

"+1" means that I am with you on this... In other words, I am adding my vote for this feature.Dirk wrote:Hmmm, I am wondering what that ominous +1 means?

Re: Google Drive
I am not sure I understand the request - do you want to access your online cloud folder directly from FC instead of a web browser? I am not sure if this will be possible... If you just want to access your offline synced files, i.e. if you already have a folder which is synchronised with your online ...

E.g. the Windows Explorer has this feature - you hit CTRL+Z and in majority of cases the command is undone. This is quite handy from time to time...
P.S.: Maybe we should move this topic to "Feature Requests".

Re: How replace WindowsExplorer for FreeCommander by defaut
Ok, now I see why it didn't work - I didn't change the location of FreeCommander (mine is not under c:\\Tools, but c:\\Program Files...). It works now, thanks.horst.epp wrote:Copy the entries above between the === lines into filename.reg and doppel click this file in Explorer or FC

Re: How replace WindowsExplorer for FreeCommander by defaut
Hi, I am not really a PC expert - could you please let me know how to change the registry entries as per the post above (or maybe in a different way) for Windows 7 64-bit, so that I can use FreeCommander as default when e.g. opening downloaded files through Firefox?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Save Folder and File List to file
@CH17: I am not sure which version you use, but in build 673 (32/64-bit) you can use the function "Copy name as text" (or select the files and then hit SHIFT+ALT+INSERT). It will copy the names of your selected files and folders to clipboard. You then just need to paste your selection to ...

Confirmed on build 673 32-bit.
Not confirmed on 673 64-bit portable (it works well in this version).

Re: Use 64-bit Version On 32-bit Systems
Hi, you cannot install 64-bit version on 32-bit systems and even if you could, I think that it would make no sense and be of no use. Stick to the 32-bit version and let us know if you encounter any issues (or even if you don't! ).

Thanks for clarification Dreamer. I think you can lock this topic - solution found (using F5/F6 instead of other methods).Dreamer wrote:Hint from joby_toss works only when using F5/F6, it doesn't work with ctrl+x/c/v.

New Word document in context menu creates a text file
Hi all
I have noticed that when I right-click and select to create a new MS Word file, FreeCommander creates a txt file instead of doc/docx. I am running Build 673 x64. I tested it on the public x86 and the problem is not there.
Can somebody confirm the issue? Thanks!
