Version 802 not XP compatible?

When you run it (extracted the portable version) got the error "The procedure entry point `GetTickCount64` could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll". Quick search indicates that this is due the way this version was compiled e.g. this link https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1784...

Folder serach customer column widths

Is there a way customise the folders displayed in the file/folder search ? Can't find anything on the menus and failed to find anything in the forum. I have found the FreeCommander.find.ini file and edited that modified the settings ColWidth1 ColWidth2 etc. and that sort of works i.e. the columns ar...

Re: Viewer Settings Not Saving

What has worked for me is use 'Tools -> Save Settings' and then the Viewer window opens with the same settings next time FreeCommander is started.

Problem still present in 748. Would be nice if we had this "acknowledged" as bug.

Same result on for me on 32 bit. 64 bit doesn't seem to have the same issue.

Toolbar file name sorting - doesn't always work

Sometimes clicking the toolbar icon to change the file sort order (name, date, size) doesn't work and the other symptom is two toolbar icons will be "selected' (current sort order and the one just clicked). The work around when this happens (as advised when I mentioned this before) is to select a fi...

Re: Trojan in FCSFXStub.exe?

1 result from a less well-known AV (Baidu) so I would class this as a simple "false positive" so it can be regarded as safe.

From what I read Baidu uses Avira as the engine but in the Virustotal result Avira didn't return a positive result so this lends support to the "false positive" conclusion.

Re: 744 Tool bar button "Sort all items by name" bug

Press button "Sort all items by name" one more time and items would be sorted in ascending order. All modes of sorting - for example, by extension, after first press make sorting in descending order. I thought I just didn't payed attention to such app behavior. Apparently, problem appeared in last ...

744 Tool bar button "Sort all items by name" bug

There seems to be a bug in 744 with the tool bar button "Sort all items by name". If you the list of file sorted by another criteria e.g. date modified, size then use the tool bar button "Sort all items by name" it sorts the files in descending order instead of ascending order. Have checked this as ...

Re: Version 735 32-bit Corrupt

I had the same problem with the 32 bit version of 735. There was nothing "pressing" with the new version based on the changelog so I just re-loaded 734.

That said the new archive has a different checksum and the it also works flawlessly for me. Thanks !
