Search for files/folders does not work with ";" in path
If I'm in a dir with ";" in the path, e.g. "C:\temp\A;B;C", then click "Search for files/folders", add some name and click "Find" I only get errors in "Search log". Even after adding double quotes around the path by hand it does not work. PS.: In e.g...

Re: Call with /T dir /C not working if ::Computer is active
For explanation why I checked the command line handling: In want to be able to open path in FreeCommander via SendTo from any other application (like Everything, 7zFM, Windows explorer and any file or dir selection dialogues). Unfortunately the options are not evaluated position independent, so e.g....

Re: Call with /T dir /C not working if ::Computer is active
I had to restore my system and forgot to update FreeCommander after this - it's an old problem from 771, and Ralf is right, the problem does not exist in 797. This issue can be closed.

Re: Call with /T dir /C not working if ::Computer is active
Hello Ralf. My "::Computer" shows mapped and subst drives, but no other special things!? Nevertheless it does not work here, see screen-shot. Would it help if I send my settings files? PS: In the screen-shot you can see another small problem: N: mapping is shown with a red "x". E...

Call with /T dir /C not working if ::Computer is active
I start FreeCommander default with ::Computer Then call like C:\Tools\FreeCommanderXE\FreeCommander.exe /T C:\Users /C does not work - new tab is ::Computer instead of "C:\Users" If I open e.g. "C:\", same command does what it should do. FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable797 (2019...

FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable771: Command line does not work if current tab is ::Computer
If FreeCommanderXE is running with tab ::Computer in active panel (in list view and "Favorites Tree" active, "Folder Tree" not active) the following command line simply opens a second ::Computer tab instead of "P:\E0xxx\E06xx\E065x": "C:\Tools\FreeCommanderXE\FreeC...

Re: Split with FreeCommander XE
1. The "Split file" function is still missing in FC XE 2017 Build 740 :(. 2. But there is a "Split file" icon in the list of commands, which you can add to some action toolbar - which gives you an always disabled (useless) button in your toolbar! As long as the function does not ...

Add "1 h difference ignore" option for "Folder -> Compare"
Due to the stupid DST handling in MS-Windows the file time can change by 1h if DST status changes , and this depends on the used file system. E.g. if you copy files form NTFS-HD to FAT-USB-stick in summer, then compare in winter (ore vice versa), you will notice that time of some files differs...

Re: "1 h difference ignore" option for "Compare folders" mis
You can make a topic in the section "Feature Requests". OK - for me it looked like a bug to support the "1 h difference ignore" in "Folder -> Synchronize" but not in "Folder -> Compare" - and I don't care if it's called a bug or a feature request, and I don't...

Re: "1 h difference ignore" option for "Compare folders" mis
I just tested with "FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable734.zip": There is still no option "1 h difference ignore" for "Compare folders" .

Re: "1 h difference ignore" option for "Compare folders" mis
I just tested with "FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable729.zip": There is still no option "1 h difference ignore" for "Compare folders" :(. @Timon: Unchecking "Date of last change" is no solution - in folder compare a real(!) difference in time stamp must be det...

Quick search does not work with special characters
I have folders with special characters, e.g. "c't" or a!b, a#b, a$b, a@b, a~b, a+b, a'b. If I type a character then e.g. "'" or AltGr, the search string disappears, and "!" gives an error message. In above examples only a#b and a+b works. FreeCommander XE 2016 Buld 726 ...
