Re: When switching tabs back and forth, file list resets

FreeCommander XE 2014 Build 650 To switch tabs I just click on another tab and then click back on the first tab. EDIT: Try this. Make your computer do something really intensive that makes it very slow. Then look for a very long folder in your computer, like Windows\system32 and select a file in the...

When switching tabs back and forth, file list resets

This bug is really annoying to me. Say you have a file selected in the middle of a long file listing in a tab. If you switch to another tab and then come back to the first one, you'll see the list reset: it starts listing in the beginning and then quickly the cursor is moved to the file selected, bu...

Re: How to keep dates in the "Date" tab of "Define filter"?

I wonder where you get files before year 1900. I'm amazed that it works with years before 1970. All filesystems as far as I know use a value that some people call "unix timestamp" or "unix epoch". That is the number of seconds (or milliseconds in some platforms) since 01-01-1970 ...

Re: Dot in Extensions column

True about FTP most important than anything.

Anyway since you said this is just a matter of personal taste, here is how a real File Manager should look :P

Re: Dot in Extensions column

I'm amazed at how people use the file manager. I always thought most people use file manager like I do: ALWAYS detailed list, and ALWAYS sorting by extension. I think it's the default of a file manager use. Aligning the extension in the name column to the right is not what we want. I thought most pe...

Re: Dot in Extensions column

True. I tried it and I don't see any difference at all :(

I wonder what it is for.

Request: Tabs only in the file/folders pane

This is just a feature request so the FreeCommander looks great and we don't have to move the mouse that much. When using dual pane horizontal and double tree, the tabs are under the whole tree + file/folders pane, like this: http://i.imgur.com/0xW8mrK.png But it looks way nicer and it's more useful...

Dot in Extensions column

Is there a way to hide the dot in the extensions column? It's pretty redundant and I think it shouldn't show the dot.

What I mean is instead of showing ".txt" it should show "txt".

When using file/folder colors, selections are always black

FreeCommander XE 2014 Build 650, Windows 8.1 64-bit When using file and/or folders colors and you select one of the colored items it is always black. In the following example the folder Apple should stay blue when selected, but it is black: http://i.imgur.com/mlljiZ1.png Also as you can see, and I k...
