Is it possible to flatten a folder and all subfolders
I would like to flatten a directory hierarchy: copy all files under a root folder to a target folder, with directory information removed. Is that possible in FreeCommander?

Thumbnail view does not account for font size
I use a slightly bigger font in the File/Folder list and this makes the file names be clipped in the Thumbnail view: https://i.postimg.cc/MZVTw5yt/Screenshot-2021-02-05-144800.jpg It looks like there should be 2 rows for the name, but it doesn't account for the font size. Thank you for looking into ...

Re: Is there a plan for HiDPI support?
I see, thanks for getting back yo me. In your case the 1920x1080 resolution may play a role. At 3840x2160, the difference in clarity is significant, as below. Let me know if there's any additional tuning that could help. All I did so far is override the HiDPI settings with "System(enhanced)&quo...

Re: Is there a plan for HiDPI support?
Right, I've tried all and there's no optimal value. "System(Enhanced)" improves the menus, but the file list is always fuzzy. Has anyone achieved "retina quality" on a 4K monitor similar to FileExplorer through some magic configuration? Back to the original question, is it a majo...

Is there a plan for HiDPI support?
Environment: 4K monitor, Windows 10, scale 150% (default) free-commander-hidpi.png Other than the title bar, the rest is blurry. Some of it can be improved with Properties -> HighDPI scaling override -> System (Enahanced), but it's still not perfect and it's just the OS trying to compensate for an a...

Re: Favorites lost
Same problem with version 714. While dragging a folder to the favorites, all the existing ones were lost (along with the categories), except for 3. And the reason I upgraded to 714 was that in a slightly older version I had lost the favorites. It will probably happen again, because it doesn't seem l...

'Enclose each selected item with "' fails with %ActivDir%
I have two favorite tools to do diffs for files and for directories. The parameters look as follows: %InactivDir% %ActivDir% and %InactivSel% %ActivSel% For both of them I have 'Enclose each selected item with "' checked so that spaces in the path are handled properly. The first one doesn't wor...

Copy from archive does not honor name change
In the attached screenshot I'm trying to copy standalone.conf.bat from inside an archive and rename it to foo.bat in the target directory. The new name is ignored and FC copies it under the original name, resulting in an overwrite conflict. Note: Renaming the target works fine when copying between f...
