Command Line misinterperting forward slashes
This command line works OK: freecommander.exe c:\test\test2 This command line does not: freecommander.exe c:/test/test2 The second command line does open Freecommander in the correct folder, but the tab name name is "test\test2", instead of the correct "test2". Navigation to sub-...

A typical directory is: [Network drive:\job folder]\4901-5000\4932 There should only be one 4932, but there could also be 4932_A etc. There is also a second job folder that old jobs are moved to. In the script, I would enter '4932', and it would open the folder whose names start with that, but are a...

Re: Question about mouse middle button
Hi! :) Straight to the questions: 1) Can I make a middle-clicked folder open in the other panel (instead of a new tab in the current one)? 2) Can I go to the parent folder by middle-clicking on an unused area (as it already does when double-clicking it)? Thanks a lot :) This is old, but I may be ab...

Passing information to "go to folder"?
I am looking at differetn ways to enable using a shorthand method for opening specific directories on a shared folder. Previously, I ran a script that called freecommander, which was set to a single instance. A better way would be to pass a directory directly to the "go to folder" command....

.wlx support
I have looked up the help file, and checked out the forum posts, but I can't find any info about using the Lister .wlx plugins.

I tried the double click option, and it works OK in most cases, except for when there is a full list of folders and files, and then I only open them. I would still like this option, as it would mean a quick reflex option for goin up a directory, rather that hunting for a small icon or text, or havin...

Copy-Paste automatic rename
I quite regularly copy a file to the same directory. In most cases, I rename the file to something other than the standard "copy of...", and mostly it is something that can not be chosen as a default. I would like to see the option where if one did a copy/paste in the same directory, the n...

It would auso be useful to have folder sizes, and be able to append to a file. Also, a recuirsive option with multiple depths would also be good, all going to the same file. eg, For C:\mainFol, recursive directories set to 1 first does C:\MainFol Then C:\MainFol\Dir1 Then c:\Mainfol\Dir2 ...... If r...

Context Menu Options
Just installed verstion 2007.10. Some nice changes. I previously made my own custom context-menus to open folders in FC, as it can be very useful. These are the features I would like to see: -Two context menu items - one for Right, and one for Left panel. -Option to open folders in new tabs, to prev...

Up-Directory Strip
I used to use Directory Opus or the Amiga, and one of the nice features was a long bar either side of the file area that took you to the parent directory. This made directory navigation a lot faster. It would only need to be a few pixels wide, but would need to be on the extreen edge of the screen s...
