Re: Making Multiple empty (sub)folders at once
Thanks for the feedback. Like you suggested, I have been doing it manually in FC, using copy, paste, and then bulk rename tool. I was just looking for a better, more efficient, automated method. FC does so much, but I know it cannot do everything. While looking around for a better alternative, I tho...

Making Multiple empty (sub)folders at once
Can FC make multiple empty (sub)folders with sequential date counter? For example, I organize some downloaded radio programs into subfolders for every day of the year. So, file structure looks like: /Program_Name/2016/2016-01/2016-01-01. I find this approach to organizing the files helps me locate t...

That's a good suggestion. Thanks.

Re: Orgainizing Folders/Files for backing up to DVD/CD/BD et
@gtaus1: Take a look at the File Container feature in FC XE. It might be useful in this case. Thanks for the suggestion on using this neat feature I was not aware of in FC XE. I tried it out and it, but unfortunately it does not offer what I am looking for on this project. Perhaps if one could set ...

Re: Orgainizing Folders/Files for backing up to DVD/CD/BD et
I have been using CDBurner XP for a few years as my main disc burning software. The disc spanning works, to a point, but will split folders between discs, which is what I am trying to avoid. I keep all my related media folders and files on the same disc. After I burn the disc, I catalog the contents...

Orgainizing Folders/Files for backing up to DVD/CD/BD etc...
I routinely make DVD backups of my growing multimedia music and movie collection before I transfer the files to my home media server. I use the FC XE "Show Folder Size" feature to select folders to build a DVD sized directory (4.36 GB) to burn to disc. It would be great if FC XE had a feat...

Re: Automated/Delayed File Transfers?
Thank you for the response. I downloaded Dropit and have started playing around with it. I think it might work for me. Just wish FC XE had an automated file transfer ability built into the program. FC XE does just about everything else I need.

Automated/Delayed File Transfers?
I am becoming a big fan of FreeCommander as it has replaced a number of other utilities that I formerly used. I would like to know if it is possible within FreeCommander to setup an automated file transfer routine. For example, currently I work with many media files on my main computer and save thos...
