Using an external search program

Is it possible to use an external search program? Before I paid for FreeCommander I purchased File Locator Pro because the Windows Explorer built-in search sucks and it's slow. I'd like to be able to assign File Locator Pro to the search function in FreeCommander.

File rename to change only case of file now fails but used to work

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703), 64-bit and now the file rename feature is not working like it did before the OS upgrade. If the only change in a filename is the case of the letters then the rename operation fails. It says that a file with the same name already exist...
