Re: I give up. Can't figure out how to change color (e.g. Address Bar)

I have no possibillity to check Win 7, but you have to put RGB values (138, 240, 101) in the fields on the right R=red, G=green, B=blue). I think I remember that the lightblue color was the windows highlight color. Try at settings > select items: On: Theme off (need program restart) Off: Use Windows...

Re: Feature request: right-click menu on Address Bar offers "new folder tab"

However there appears to be a bug in FCXE adding that command. Whether using the red arrow button or double-click method, when I select the command row that has the icon and use either of the two methods for adding the command, the row selected drops down from the first of the two rows for "new fol...

Re: Feature request: right-click menu on Address Bar offers "new folder tab"

This means you can put an button for "open in new tab" in "Address bar - actions toolbar" or any other toolbar. So you have a oneclick solution to open selected folder in new tab (also if you have not tab). As result you have 2 tabs. https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Defineactiontoolbars.html Ch...

Re: How to acheive a fresh install ?

First you can check if some settings influences the speed of freecommander. Start FC with default settings with this command line parameters: "C:\path to FreeCommander.exe" /N /NewIni=Test.ini /NoPlugins https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Commandlineparameters.html Or you can try the portable Ver...

… , but it is more easy than "tools -> settings" way ;)
For the file window you also can use rightclick on statusbar.
There are options for "hidden files" and "system files".

Is there a way to replace windows explorer with Freecommander also in the context menus?
I think FC normally has no context menu entries, they are all from windows explorer listed for filetypes in registry.

Re: Quick access

Quick access is the topmost area in the foldertree of the windows explorer, not FreeCommander.

In FreeCommander you can use the favorites, tabs or folderlinks in favorite tool toolbar.

Re: Feature Request: Favorites in Drive Bar

Hello Robert, You can use your "Favorite tools toolbar" for placing folder-favorites or program-favorites and much more on this toolbar. If you have such toolbar you can drag & drop a folder on a free place (not on another folder or program in the toolbar). https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Favo...

[Fixed] 827 - FcIconNr=... doesn't work anymore

FCXE 827 64-bit Donor portable - WIN 10

In FCXE 827 the freecommander.ini-entry "FcIconNr=2" (orange FC-icon) doesn't work anymore. FC-icon in taskbar is allways the blue one.

Re: Folder/file list user profile

Not what you asked but an easier way to make a list of the filenames: Select all files your want use Menu "Edit" >>> "Copy to clipboard" >>> "Copy full name as text (Alt + Ins)" or use "Alt + Ins" or use the "copy to clipboard button" on the right side of the "Address bar-actions toolbar" https://fr...
