How to use a custom console program?
I've found this console program for Windows - https://github.com/adoxa/ansicon
Is it possible to run ansicon.exe instead of cmd.exe when pushing the hotkey (Ctrl+D) for console (Open DOS window)?
Thanks

How to show size of selected files in Bytes?
When I select a number of files in the current folder (with Space or Ins), at the bottom I see the combined size of those files, but FreeCommander is showing the size in KB or MB etc.
Is it possible to set FreeCommander to always show the size in Bytes?
If yes, then how?
Thanks

Re: 621 - cannot see c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
I have the same issuse. I could type etc into the address bar (when already in c:\windows\system32\drivers\) and it would go into the folder. How you do that? I can't edit or change the text in the address bar. http://www.forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?t=2130&view=previous I don't underst...

Re: Multi rename with supported regular expressions
Yes please implement regex in the replace feature of Multi Rename Tool.
Some pseudo-regex would be more than enough for a while.
To make possible simple replaces like:
replace "_.*" with ""

Re: Create symbolic links or junctions instead of copy.
Yes, I just tried it, it's really a cool feature, useful for situations described in the third example. It would be very good to have a keyboard shortcut, by the way.
However, creating symbolic links is much more powerful than that, please Marek implement this feature!

Drives: show as combo box, Status bar: size in bytes
Hello all, I am new to the Freecommander XE, so please excuse me for the newbish questions: - How can I set it to show drives as combo box? ("Extras -> Settings -> View -> Drives -> Show -> As combo box" in 2009.02b) - How can I set the status bar to show the file sizes in bytes? ("Ex...

Create symbolic links or junctions instead of copy.
Hello all, I think it would be extremely helpful to implement such a feature: When you open the copy menu, to have a checkbox saying "Create symbolic links (for files) or junctions (for folders) instead of copying." Windows XP already implemented junctions (symbolic links for folders) Wind...

Custom column views with regexp
Hello, I wonder if there is any solution to define custom column views. I need to define a view where you see modified file names. For example I have the following files: Big Buck Bunny (2008).avi Elephants Dream (2006).avi Sintel (2010).avi and I need to define a view where I can see the file names...

Search box into Keyboard Shortcuts Settings window
I just noticed that Krusader (file manager in KDE, Linux) has a nice feature. When you define keyboard shortcuts, you have a search box. Type for example "tab" and you'll get a list like: "Next tab" "Previous tab" "Close current tab" "Open new tab" I...
