Re: Display images as thumbnails
It's good to know that FC can handle it on your computer. Any suggestions as to why I might be running into problems? I'm running 64-bit FC https://www.dropbox.com/s/uk0dzid9pow6ios/2023-04-28%20114346%20FC%20version.png?dl=0 on a W11 64-bit new Microsoft SP9 machine with an I7 processor 32 gig of R...

Re: Display images as thumbnails
As I mentioned in my initial post, these are local files. In fact, photo thumbnails render much more quickly on the iCloud.com website than freecommander can do with local images. Freecommander is clearly choking on a folder with thousands of images. These large folders will be foinusers that synchr...

Re: Display images as thumbnails
It took several hours plus episodes of 'not responding' to show even a handful of images. There are 13K images in my icloud photos folder on my computer. Might FC be choking on this large folder? Display images as thumbnails
I can't figure out how to display a folder of .jpg & .png images as thumbnails so I don't have to open the quickview screen. Here's what I see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o2ryz3gtq3pxws6/2023-04-20%20111632%20--%20FC%20image%20thumbnails%20not%20displayed.png?dl=0 . They will auto-populate in Win...

Re: Change font of file & folder lists
Found it! I was looking for the word "Font" and all I found was "Background/Font". I didn't think to click on the letter "A" icon to reveal the font dialogue box. FreeCommander is great but it's easy to get lost in all of its choices. Could I suggest that you make more ...

Change font of file & folder lists
Hi, I've looked through all the settings under tools to see how to change the font of the folder and file lists in the standard panes. I found a setting for Quickview font but not for the standard views. Can it be changed? Here's a screenshot to show which display I mean: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x...

Sort order change doesn't apply to all folders
Hi, I usually like to sort my folders by name in ascending order and I have set up the options to do this. However, these options don't persist. Note in this image that I have set "Sort ... by name" but the folder persists in showing descending date. https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8x2la0bg7zo2...

SUBST folders appear empty
I use SUBST as follows: C:\Users\John>SUBST D:\: => C:\Cloud\Dropbox\D This screenshot https://postimg.cc/ygxnjr0L shows that FC shows files properly when using the original location (top pane) but not the substituted location (bottom pane). Windows explorer correctly shows the substituted folder co...

Re: Set a Default Thumbnail Size
I agree and as well it should be easy to change the thumbnail size the fly for a displayed folder. Sometimes I want to look at large images, sometimes at small. Even Explorer allows 4-5 display sizes.
