Re: filter bug?

true, but in my opinion its better to unset focus on the file selection menu because another file is selected.
So if focus is set on another panel (or none at all) things are more logical.

filter bug?

I think I have bug but this could also be worked as designed (setting): executed scenario: 1. select file 2. apply quickfilter so that the selected file from 1 is outfiltered 3. disable quickfilter from step 2 now, different file is selected (not the same as the user had in step 1) this caused some ...

Windows Dark Mode skin for FC

Is there a skin for FC that resembles "Windows 10 Dark Mode" (have the same look and feel as far as GUI is concerned)? I am not that handy creating my own skin. I just want a skin for Dark Mode which looks as much as possible as Windows 10 Native mode. And instructions on how to start FC w...

Re: Default settings for queue and operations

Well, in my opinion it would be better to have FC by default use the FC Method (for copy/move, etc) , because then you start to know FC and its possibilities by using FC. If I didn't dive into it and read the manual I didn't even know the FC method was existing! So, I had to search for it first. Bet...

Re: Copy folderstructure with file type selection

If so, why is that, and couldn't be better changed default to "Use FreeCommander" ?? By default, for copy/move file/folder operations, "use Windows" is the default operation, why? Do you know the Queue feature? It's very useful. Anyway, it's OT here, so you can continue in this ...

Re: Copy folderstructure with file type selection

Mey mgroen, I have my FC setup to use FC-Method when copying, and also I have my FC setup NOT to copy with a dialog. The way I use FC, I normally select files in the one pane and copy them into a directory in the other pane. Without dialog it is faster. If I need to copy using the dialog, I have se...

I'm not sure if I understand, but probably like this, press F5/F6 and type *.pdf to filter field. FC Screenshot_03072021_172234.png I had to change FC's default copy method (Tools->Settings->File/Folder operation->General->Copy) It was setup as "use Windows", so I had to change it to &quo...

Hi, I have a lots of PDF files to convert. This conversion tool only handles approx 100 files as input at once. Now, I want to feed those files to the conversion using FC. Copy folderstructure with file type selection

Hi, is FC able to copy(move) files with folderstructure but within the folder structure only copy(moveI files matching a specific criteria? Example1: folder structure: c:\test\test1\ contains: 1.pdf 1.doc 2.pdf 2.xlsx c:\test\test2 contains: 1.pdf 2.pdf 3.doc if a user wanted to copy c:\test with su...

Re: searching on filename and/or file contents

Hey mgroen, I don't think it is necessary for Marek to implement an additional AND/OR operator. Looking at the image you posted, you have advanced options enabled Under File name: activate the checkbox <Regular expression> then put this into your file name field: ^(Bahnhof|.*) Tested this on your t...
