Re: How to create script in this software ?
I've had great success automating actions for files by using batch files in combination with FC XE I'll use the currrent folder, or current file selection as a variable that i pass on to a batch files that i keep in my favorites menu. If this can be done with batch files, you can probably do it usin...

Re: Shortcut to show FC on top?
you'd need a separate utility.

i installed nView that comes from nvidia for my video card, that also has some nice window control options built in.

For some lower resolution displays and for doing video tutorials, i'd like to be able to toggle the display of the toolbars. Please include an option for this

Feature Request: New tab when selecting from system button
Hello,
I was looking for this as an option, and i only see it available for favorites. but it would be nice to have that for the system folder button, i could basically get rid of half of my folders in my favorites.
Cheers,
Jd

Re: Add icon to favorite toolbar
here's what i have to open explorer in the active folder, you can alter it to just have a path statement instead. where you see "%ActivDir%" you can put in a specific path "C:\temp" The icon i use is from the explorer.exe, but you could use almost any .ico file you want http://i6...

Re: 716 - false positives?
i've always downloaded direct from the Freecommander site. my concern was maybe the FTP function in Freecommander was making trend read it as a false positive for some dumb reason. I've been using FC-XE for a long time and this was the first time i saw this issue. thanks for the confirmation that it...

716 - false positives?
my trend micro office scan is detecting a virus with freecommander.exe in 716 when i'm running. freecommander works fine for a minute or two, then trend micro shuts it down and deletes the exe. i've downloaded the portable version twice with the same results. Is anyone else getting any virus scan is...

Re: middle click options?
Thanks Timon.
I didn't realize that Listary could control that option inside FC-XE.
I was searching for "middle-click" in the forums and missed that post.
Working fine now!

middle click options?
where can i edit middle-click options? i'm using Listary in combination with FC-XE. Listary has a middle click option to access a pop up menu. I'd like to have that woking in FC-XE, but FC-XE is overriding it. Ideally, i'd like to disable the FC middle-clicking functions in the file browser only. Is...

Re: How to Browse folders with Free Commander
I was using Win 10, but i didn't see that behaviour. (i reverted back to Win 7)
Honestly, i think i would prefer that anyways. The new explorer in Win 10 is still way behind in features when compared to FC XE!

Re: Can F/C help detect duplicates?
i would suggest the duplicate files tool in CCleaner.
I use ccleaner for temp file cleanup, the duplicate file finder tool is an added bonus.
your scattered drives would all have to be accessible (ie, through a network setup, etc)

my FC is set with dark background, but i dont see an option to set the commandline to a dark background.
So my history list is white text on white.
Can we have an option to change the color of the background?
Thanks!
