Re: Updated Total7Zip plugin based on 7-Zip 18.XX beta

1) close FreeCommander XE
2) there should be the file Total7zip.xml in FreeCommander install directory
3) open it with notepad and find alwaysWait7zip="0"
4) change the setting to alwaysWait7zip="1" and save the file
5) everything should be ok. now

  • Please consider making it possible to rename files and folders recursively (to be applied to sub-folders). This would greatly enhance the rename capability, and make it more useful.
this can easily be achieved by switching to Plain view (Ctrl+B) first and then starting Multi rename

[fixed - thanks] 794 - multiple file opening leads to crash

1) select two or more files (e.g. .docx-files)
2) hit enter
3) files are opened correctly, but FCXE 794 crashes

Re: Repeated crash triggered by quickly opening internal viewer

cannot confirm on Win7x64pro and FCXE 790x64.

opened Internal Viewer via F3 on a regular .txt-file and pressed Esc to close quickly and I repeated it for at least ten times --> everything went smoothly, no crash.

Re: LHA

as far as I know 7zip can do it.
you might give total7zip-plugin a try.
works as a charm for me, but I must admit I have never had to deal with LHA/LZH files so far

[787] not totally solved the deselect issue

- "Use FreeCommander" for deleting operation
- select more than one file/folder
- hit Del-Key and then cancel Del operation
- FCXE loses multiple file/folder selection

Del key in quick filter not works reliably

1) activate Plain View (Ctrl+B) to watch a huge number of files (I've got more than 200000 files in plain view) 2) activate Quick filter (Ctrl+Y) and type in some search (for example: .mpeg) 3) be sure that FreeCommander shows the following message: Loading content of: "xxxx" 4) go to quick filter s...

Re: [SOLVED] Folders don't stay selected during delete

sorry, problem only solved if you Use Windows for deleting operation.

if Use FreeCommander is your setting for deleting action the issue still persists.

Re: Newbie question

which format are the embroidery files?
aka what ending have they got? (.jpg, .png, ...)

if they have one of the "more common" endings --> a switch to thumbnails view (Ctrl+I) should do it.
