Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hi, I hate being pushy on a feature request but I feel like 99% of the job has been done when you implemented font color on favorite list. Could you please add the little supplementary button to also configure background color ? I wanted to upload an image to show you the visual effect it yields and...

Ctrl-C yields List Index out of bounds

Hello,

Weird one appeared with Build 748 32-bit donor (upon Windows 7) : when I either Ctrl-C or menu Edit > Copy, I get that "List Index out of bounds" error popup (whereas context menu "Copy" or using menu File > Copy won't cause the problem).

Thanks

Re: Search profile doesn't retain Timestamp "Not older optio

Hi Marek, There may be a regression around that feature : when I open FC, create a folder and a file within, searching for "Not older than" -> 1 day won't list the file whereas fiddling +1 -1 day and search again will do the trick (?) I'll be more specific than last time on version : I'm currrently ...

Re: Hardlink reference count

I just checked that symlinks (both file & directory) are visible through additional Windows column "Link Target"
Junctions targets (and thus status) are not visible though.
I would be nice that column be searchable.

Re: Hardlink reference count

+1 on this one
And it would be so useful to also be able to track symlinks (files, folders) and junctions.
(?)
Thanks

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hello, It's been implemented in build 745, nice ! (THANKS) Note that : - adding background color option would be even more useful than font color (stripes of colors are visually more impacting) - (bug:) font color is visible at edit time and in the side tree but not in drop-down lists from the main ...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hi Karol, I have, yes, but it appears to me as another hierarchy level already offered through Folders (just an additional invisible top level where one can swap between projects/contexts for instance). I don't deny the value of folders (my folder hierarchy would speak for me !) but at some point, o...

Yes : both the side tree (Alt+F) and the menu drop-down (and even also the panel drop down from favorites icon) > BTW You can use favorite folders also in favorite tools. Indeed but for punctual use : when it comes to hundreds, you can't decently map every single new fa...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hi Dreamer, Thanks for your reply. I have been imprecise though : I'm talking about favorite folders (as stored in FreeCommander.fav.xml), not favorite toolbars . I can have up to hundreds of bookmarked directories and files there and I happily sorted all those into folders. Nonetheless, I try to ma...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hello Guys, I allow myself this bump after two years because I now have pretty large favorite folders and I kind of miss some of those extra differentiation visual codes to quickly identify lines without further directory hierarchyzation. I don't know exactly whether Marek has set up a triage/priori...

beta 741 Installer won't let pick a destination Location

Hello, Weirdly, with build 741, one is not offered the choice of a destination directory whereas build 740 (and previous) would propose a selector after accepting the agreement. (I'm willing to keep separate installation images, release after release) Thanks N.B. : tested with FreeCommanderXE-32-don...

Re: File > Search > Subfolder filter : regex on full path

Hi Marek, I'm sorry (for myself ;)) I haven't seen your almost immediate reply. Case is quite simple, two files in subdirs of MyDir (can't upload zip files in this forum apparently nor unknown extensions nor fake image) : D:\Temp\Mydir\MySub\MyFile.txt D:\Temp\Mydir\Another\MyOtherFile.txt http://fo...
