Fav. Toolbar -> Separate for each (...) -> %ActiSelName% NOK

Hello, I was willing to expand some of my favorite tools to iterate on selected items. Unfortunately, if %ActivSel% seems to resolve correctly on full path to file at each iteration, %ActivSelName% remains as is, litterally "%ActivSelName%" I've tested it on two files a.txt and b.txt that I select a...

Re: Folder size consolidation toggle ("KB") unpredictable st

Hi Karol, I do well know the difference between those two buttons (and I appreciate it) since I configure "size of folders" in my main toolbar and "size of selected folder" in panels. Unfortunately, I'm unable to grab a strict deterministic path to that very strange behavior. I run into it frequentl...

Re: Folder size consolidation toggle ("KB") unpredictable st

Hello, I allow myself this little bump through some more documentation of the case, a typical scenario being : - I re-open FC after exit - "KB" = "Calculates the space occupied by folders (Alt+F9)" is in unpressed state - In current panel, cols are ordered by Name - I press KB : button looks pressed...

resize buttons (25%, 50%, 75%) do not seem to work anymore

Hello, Neither of the three buttons (nor the keyboard shortcut) seem to work any longer : - Resizes the active panel to 25% - Set both panels to same size (Shift+Ctrl+F2) - Resizes the active panel to 75% I have observed that behavior on both 32 and 64 bits version of FC (FreeCommander XE 2016 Build...

Re: Regression (?) -> Search result export to File Container

Hi Timon,
Indeed.
I also checked, back home, where I have Win7 32-bit installed, with the very same 718 build of FC.
So I could have as well posted in '64-bit only' forum.
Thanks

Regression (?) -> Search result export to File Container

Hello, As of Build 718 64-bit (can't tell for 32b), the precious little button "Export to file container" doesn't work anymore (either full or on selection ; shortcuts Ctrl+E & S do not produce any effect either). There is still a work around through copy/pasting or drag&dropping but it is not as re...

Search profile doesn't retain Timestamp "Not older option"

Hello, For monthly backup purpose I saved a very specific search as a profile with a "Not older than" 32 Day(s) option. When I load the profile to run, the option appears as checked but doesn't actually apply (rather "Between" option applies, although unchecked, between today and today) If I fiddle ...

Folder size consolidation toggle ("KB") unpredictable state

Hi, I'm experiencing an unpredictable behavior on the consolidate folder size button ("KB" = "Calculates the space occupied by folders") : it doesn't seem to only toggle between ON/OFF and sometimes lands on (visually) unpressed state whereas aggregating threads obviously work on it. Sometimes I can...

Search result set selection unstability against sorting

Hello, An example will speak better : here is the behavior of the folder pane I would expect to also encounter in search pane : http://forum.freecommander.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=253&sid=4c15f2e57ae87b641a2941ebaf89496e I select files a.txt and b.txt, the I sort by name descending : my se...

Re: Regression (?) -> Search : excluding subfolder path rege

Hi Karol, Thanks for your reply. My example is just a simplified example to show the case. I do need complex regex in case I want to exclude specific folders, date-formatted, only if they are subfolders of other stereotyped folders, etc. So my post stands : how would you filter exclude with regex on...

Regression (?) -> Search : excluding subfolder path regex

Hello, About a year ago, I had been impressed by the quick implementation of search filtering on full subfolder path : http://forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6232 I recently installed FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 705 64-bit donor on Windows 7 64-bit The checkbox "Use for full subfolder pa...

Links manager (shortcuts, junctions & hard links)

It would come handy to enjoy create, get attributes, "list links to" and of course delete around junctions, hard links and shortcuts (as some functionality exists currently with "paste as shortcut").

Thanks

Re: Back-ref capturing groups in multirename regex replaceme

My bad, functionality is already available :
FC XE uses Perl-style capturing groups back referencing (e.g. : $1) vs. Java-style (e.g. : \1)
Can't seem to find it in the fine manual though.
Nice, anyway.
