I would suggest this to be implemented only if a user could turn on and off such behavior

Also: changing my settings to

Tools > Settings > View > File/folder list > General > By ENTER on multiple selected files > Open all selected items directly

Does your RMB work elsewhere, e.g. in Windows Explorer or on Desktop? Does clicking there result with you seeing shell menu?
