Which version are you using? Which view mode? There is a known bug with thumbnails view, but it should work good in other views. Perhaps you just press left/right by accident?

OK and what is wrong?? For DOC try another plugin ( http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/wordfileviewer.html ) and use this:

Can't confirm on Vista Home Premium 32 bit, but when using keyboard shortcut, Shift+C for example, such shortcuts are not disabled while typing in the address bar - therefore I can't type "C" for example, perhaps it's related...

When you double click DOC file?? Or if you open it in viewer - F3? Do you have any plugin for DOC files installed - is it configurated correctly? Do you know how to assign a file type to plugin? Detect string field should look like this: EXT="ODT" | EXT="ODS" | EXT="ODP"...

It should be, using lister plugin, more here. I found OpenOffice plugin there, but I'm not sure if any WordPerfect plugin exist. If so, it should be here.

It was probably external program, WinRAR, IZArc, 7-Zip... In FreeCommander you can unpack the archive too, just enter the archive the same way as folder, select files/folders inside and press F5 to copy to other pane. Not all archive formats are supported, e.g. 7-Zip, but Zip and Rar are supported.

Strange, I'm using Vista 32 bit all the time, I didn't have such a problem. Some files with unicode characters are inaccessible, but they are visible and it's a known issue.

Have you tried to run FC with default settings?
