Re: structureless view for files: for filtered folders also
hmmm maybe I do something wrong. 1. I quick filter the folders with topp 2. it does filter the folders containing the term topp GOOD! 3. there are no .jpg files in the topp folders (only when I deactivate the quickfilter the pictures appear). Of course there's no *.jpg file containing topp 3. when p...

structureless view for files: for filtered folders also
structureless view for files: it should work also when filtering folders. eg. I have some folders with images with the term *topp* toppforest I would like to filter the folders with the term topp and then view the images in the filtered folders with structureless view for files. maybe it already wor...

Favorites - edit;Favorites tree disp.-select multiple items
Favorites - edit... AND favorites tree display: (1) it would be practical to be able to select multiple items per control KEY plus select with mouse (or/and right mouse multiple select red). It is not comfortable to delete every single item (folder) eg. per context menu/delete. This especially when ...

Feature request:quick filter, exclude files
example: -.pdf / -*.pdf or NOT .pdf / *.pdf (- means not) displays all files which are not in *.pdf format. this is very useful when somebody wants to exclude not many files in a particular format to delete all abundant other files. eg. I have 2 important file types with ending *.xid and *.idf, show...

Re: Crashes with LibreOffice
I use libreoffice 3.5.5 but the portable version on my computer. http://portableapps.com/apps/office/libreoffice_portable/ it is much easier to use the portable version. You don't need to install it. The installer simply copies the files into a folder. There are some advantage doing this: when a new...

third color when both, structurl. view and quickfilter is
do you think it is a good idea to have a third color when quickfilter and structureless view at the same time is on? or would it be irritating?

Re: is there a shortcut for 'deactivate quickfilter"?
alt plus y is fast (i mean on the German keyboard!!!)
because search is important and control plus f is often used I would prefer this over alt plus f7
control f is left hand digit V and II,
alt f7 means left and right hand (and left hands from mouse)

Re: 597 - spaces beetween toolbars. How to do.
thanks for that. Besides, I just discovered 'general options/many toolbars/show menu as toolbar' = checked. this is nice because when having a 14' notebook display, there is more space for files.
well, spacers could be a minor feature request.

in the standard toolbar you can insert separators but how can you insert spaces to make things more distinguishable ?

Re: most missed feature
apart form quick filter, thumbnail 256 is practical and it's what speedcommander lacks; one window view is what totalcommander lacks.
freefilesync really is a good tool. I have already saved quite a lot of time.

Re: most missed feature
hmm did not know that it exists sync software out there. So, I can omit to install Fc 2009 and install freefilesync instead. I am not a very heavy user, therefore I did not notice many bugs of Fc XE I did not say that fixing things first isn't a good idea... haha... there is a little learning curve ...

most missed feature
the feature I miss the most in Fc XE is the synchronize function, since people do have to store their files on multiple drives this is an important thing. The lower speed of Fc XE (start up) isn't a big problem with a hybrid drive (momentus xt 500) in a notebook ( for me ;-) For synchronization, unf...
