F8 for Delete is standard for many populare file managers for a very long time.

You shouid use the x64 version of FC.

The xdoc2txt is terrible slow even on fast systems and also doesn't catch a lot of PDF text entries (filled out formular fields for example). What is hidden for you ?
Settings and then
open the list for File Explorer add-ons.

Here under Windows 11 FC has no such problems with Thumbnails.
Thumbnails are provided from the OS by the installation of the K-Lite Codec Pack.
This contains the Icaros Thumbnail provider.

There is a perfect solution for this. You have to install Total Commander Lister plugin ULister which requires the Oracle Viewer Technology files. All this is free but you have to create an Account on the Oracle Web site, its free and they don't send any spam or so. Here the download link for the TC...

If you don't know how a function is named you may not find it.

I found a similar behaviour.
To overcome it I just have to select Configure if I change the archive type.
After doing this once all is ok.

There is nothing wrong running FC under Windows 11.
I run Windows 11 since its first public available version without problems.
The OneDrive app allows you to setup what dirs are synchronized and if the files should be available offline.
