email notification received that new beta version v 750/ 751 have been released
but couldn't find download link of either when I visited site.
of course, it didn't say it was public release, but it also not said that it was donor release.
Thanks.

Re: Any method to create multiple folders in one go
superb, lovely. so quickly it does it.Timon wrote:Press F7 and in folder name write 180140|180141|180142|180143|180144|180145
I had struggled with this for some one year, then I dared ask in the forum, (thinking members might feel it is very personalized requirement.)
Thanks a gig.

Any method to create multiple folders in one go
say, I have to create folders named 180140, 180141, 180142, 180143, 180144 and 180145, yup - 6 folders in one go. The only method I know is to click on create folder icon (that I have added to toolbar) or press F7, then it will create take one folder name and create that. I have to do it 6 times. Is...

Re: long time, no new public release
Actually, the problem is to transfer Rupees currency from India to out of the country. Is there any multi-nation, multi-currency money transfer scheme, that doesn't cost a king's ransom as their commission as western express deducts. May be if you have any Indian user or friend who can take bank tra...

Let me thank all donors for testing and error reporting thereby helping in debugging the preview versions, so that we free users get a bug-free version.Timon wrote:At the moment, there is quite a lot of different error messages from donors.

Re: long time, no new public release
build 716 public released, I guess, around 31.01.2016 9 months have passed, hope you would make a "public" release sometime soon. If there is a policy about frequency of public release, please mention it so that we free users don't expect public releases sooner than that, and don't bother ...

Re: Please add a "open new window" option
yes, it worked. There is an icon in the toolbar now, clicking which opens a new fc windows. I don't have to any change in ini file. I selected another another file, and now whatever changes I do in this new window, like closing folder, changing folder, changing screen location, are already getting s...

Re: not able to find FreeCommander.ini file or its commands
yes, could locate it in settings folder. don't know how I missed it earlier
whoa. A 26 KB file. I would say it is huge. I thought to go thorough it master all the commands, but it is not humanly possible for me.
So giving up on experimenting with this.
Thanks for guiding.

not able to find FreeCommander.ini file or its commands
I didn't find any FreeCommander.ini file in my installation folder or settings or in installation zip file. I downloaded english help file but that also doesn't give any list of commands or settings that can be included in FreeCommander.ini file, though it does mention a FreeCommander.ini at some pl...

Re: Folder - Compare doesn't show folder tree of compared fi
he he he,
not "trying to" achieve that, already achieved that.
I could go through sync option and could compare files in single panel itself.
now it is up to the developer to provide a proper access route to this.
Thanks.

minimize to systray" clashes with "pinned to taskbar"
not really a bug, but it is confusing, so I guess you could think up of some method to resolve. when fc icon is Not "pinned to taskbar", and we have "minimize to systray" set, then clicking on minimize does take it to systray, and that does make normal taskbar fc icon disappear b...

Re: Folder - Compare doesn't show folder tree of compared fi
I don't understand why you're trying to use Folder->Compare function using a single panel view? And also why are you using a maximized single panel instead of View->Dual/one panel option? Just to have the splitter bar visible? You'll run into problems while doing so. Yes, you are right. I am using ...

Re: Please add a "open new window" option
Yes, that was it. I could create a OpenNewInstance button, which first appeared on a separate toolbar, but then I merged that and now that is peacefully appearing on the main toolbar. That did what I wanted. However, that is opening a copy of fc window with all my existing settings/ folders, etc., a...
