Re: Favorite Toolbars Locations Aren't Being Saved
That's definitely not the problem. I have a save settings icon set up on my toolbar and always save settings manually when I make a change.

Hey NumberOne, you may want to keep an eye on the thread that you mentioned below. I'm working with Marek on this issue now.

Re: 667: Favorite Toolbar position not saved on exit
Hello Marek, It didn't take long to consistently duplicate this problem. Also this problem is consistent on both my Win 7 computers. I tried to attach a file with jpg, zip, ini, and doc as extensions and this forum didn't allow me to attach any of these extensions. So how can I get you these files?

Re: 667: Favorite Toolbar position not saved on exit
Thanks Marek. Let me put my toolbars back and I'll monitor this issue and report back. I was communicating with someone else about this issue on another thread and he doesn't hide his main menu and still has this problem. I'll keep you posted.

Re: Favorite Toolbars Locations Aren't Being Saved
It's interesting why Marek can't duplicate this problem. He's always very good at fixing these.

Re: Favorite Toolbars Locations Aren't Being Saved
Thanks for pointing out that other thread. I never correlated hiding the main menu with this problem, however I do hide my main menu. Do you also hide your main menu?

Re: 667: Favorite Toolbar position not saved on exit
I have this same problem. And I too hide my main menu the same way you do. Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't catch the correlation before. Marek is always good at fixing the bugs, but he's been pretty silent on this one.

Re: Favorite Toolbars Locations Aren't Being Saved
So are you seeing this bug also? No one else seems to have it. And that's exactly what I ended up doing, but I sure wish it would get fixed.

Add icon to favorite toolbar
I need to add an icon to my favorite toolbar that will open windows explorer to a specific folder. Does anyone know the syntax for this? All I need to do from the run command is <explorer "c:\specific folder">, but this doesn't work in the Program of folder line of FCXE for the icon. I wou...

Re: Favorite Toolbars Locations Aren't Being Saved
Hello Marek, I've been have some other computer issues and ended up needing to rebuild my profile. I saved all my data, including all the FC config files. After I rebuilt my profile and using the same config files, the toolbar positions are now being saved. I have no idea why it's working now, but t...

Re: Start folders
My recommendation is to use layouts if you have a number of different configurations you want. Set panels the way you want them. Go to View, Layouts, Save current layout... Personally I use the setting as described by Horst to always have FC open to my set folders. Then I use layouts to have FC set ...
