I will say yes to this as well. The less we have to use Explorer the better.

Supported.

However, it should not be too hard to reset since the colours are simply controlled by settings in the INI file. Simply remove them and the colours return to default.

Write to CD/DVD drive

I have now gotten to the point that I rarely use Explorer at all. However I had to write some files to a CD on a machine that had no burning software except that which comes with Windows. Currently, when you click on an empty CD with FC (2008b) it automatically moves back to either the previous driv...

Automated installation

I am in the process of creating a custom Windows image to be used in my home. So far I have slipstreamed the latest versions of Microsoft software and stated what I want installed and what I do not. I have also placed a copy of FC (among some other freeware apps) on the CD to be so they are there fo...

Enter to open

When highlighting multiple files under Explorer, you can then press Enter to open them all at the same time In FC, it is always the file that has focus that is opened when Enter is pressed and not the highlighted ones. I have found that if you highlight the files you want to open then right click a ...

You could do this with the search function (Alt+F7). Simply state the folder you want to start from and use *.* (or whatever criteria you need) as the file to search for.

I agree this would be a welcome addition to FC.

I would like to see a progress indicator for the current file showing file x of y plus a percentage of the current file and another indicator showing the percentage for the whole job.

Hi Maya

I am having difficulty understanding your issue, The favorite folders auto populates the left and right pane paths when you create a new entry. After this is done you then have the option to manually change the fields if needed.

If this does not help then please let me know.

Hi RT Wolf With respect to question 1, I know of no way to edit inside any of the windows. The best suggestion I have is to use the quick view feature (CTRL+Q). When you find a document you want to edit then press F4 (FC default editor which by the way you can change to anything you want). With ques...
