Re: FreeCommander Versions and Future

Well, you led me onto something. I tried that new 532 version. I had done this: right-click on toolbar / customize action toolbar and then creating toolbars and choosing commands. But in this panel you can't choose anything custom. HOWEVER, after y'all told me (I am hard-headed) about the hotkey, I ...

Re: FreeCommander Versions and Future

Marek, I mean custom buttons, like making a folder that opens a particular path, or a button that will run a RUN command. I have taken to making buttons in FC that will run batch files and powerpro and autohotkey scripts. I don't see that it is possible in XE. I go to "customize toolbar", ...

FreeCommander Versions and Future

Hello, y'all! I use FreeCommander as my choice file browser. I have not migrated to FreeCommander XE because it doesn't seem to allow the creation of buttons that run custom run commands, like the old FC 2009b. Thus, I am still using the old version. If FC XE would let me make custom commands, I wou...

Re: Command-Line Arguments

Hello! Well, I don't know about commandline arguments, but I successfully augment my FC using powerpro. I can do just about anything with FC using powerpro, and have written a special powerpro script full of functions. If you are interested, I can direct you.

Autosave Settings

Hello! I am a HEAVY FreeCommander user. I use it every day for production. My request is that FC autosave its settings when it loses focus, that is, when another window becomes active. This would provide a solution for when FC crashes, you don't lose your tabs! Also, I use powerpro to add lots of ot...

Re: Custom "Go to folder" method possible?

@wavemaker, yes, you understand correctly - you need to have the ini plugin in your pp extensions folder; the error you see is because pp is making a call to the ini plugin but can't find it; I should probably make a list of dependencies at the top of the script :)! But this is not the right forum t...

Re: Custom "Go to folder" method possible?

Hello! Well, I am glad you are interested! You can't download anything from the files folder unless you log in and join that group. If you get powerpro then you will gladly join the group - it is very helpful and you will get access to a slew of other scripts and plugins, etc. And it doesn't cost an...

Re: Custom "Go to folder" method possible?

Yes there is! But you must be using Powerpro. I use this function all the time and it is wonderful. Check out Powerpro at http://powerpro.webeddie.com/ I have a script full of special functions to use with FreeCommander, but you have to have Powerpro installed. Check out my post at: http://tech.grou...
