New file command issue when "." in filename
When inserting a new file in a directory (using right-click; new; eg. "Text document") the name is rejected when using a "." (dot) in a filename. For example, insert a Text document in the "new file window from FC" you insert "test v12 .1.01 " as file name. Th...

Perhaps consider to rename "focus" to "open (file) location", to make FC more universal to other programs?
IMO more user friendly...

Search file / folder add "open location" command
Please add the "open location" command to the search results. For example by right-click on the found item (or a button to execute it for the highlighted search result). The location will be opened in a new tab of the active panel. In my opinion this is a missing feature in the "Searc...

Re: Settings "Search File/Folders"
Changing the settings in the tabs "Location", "Timestamp...", "Filters" seems to work without reopening Search (I don't use profiles).

Unable to pack when archive opened in other window
Version 615 An archive is opened in the left window. Then it is not possible to select the "use current folder" checkbox for a pack command started from the right window. (to add a file to the archive in the left window you can use the copy command, so it's not logical to use the pack comm...

Settings "Search File/Folders"
The "Search File/Folders" command uses the settings as-is on the time of opening the "Search File/Folders" windows. Example, - when starting the "Search File/Folders" the check box in the convertor tab is not set for the filter "*.doc;*.docx;*.xls;*.xlsx;" (do...

Re: 600- high CPU usage
Can you please release the 602 version for public. In my opinion, the current public XE version is a bad representative because off the "high CPU usage" bug. I know Freecommander XE can work fine because I already used 598. But if 601 was the first version I would work with, I would stop u...

Remember folder sorting
Is it possible to remember the way a folder is sorted the last time it was viewed, and open it default in that way of sorting when opened?
(Like the Windows Explorer does).
