Not responding more and more often
I am using FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 685 32-bit public on a variety of computers, Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10. I switched to it from Powerdesk due to long freezes where it was not responding. This is happening more and more often with FC. I use FC for copying and moving (not Windows). It happ...

Re: send to mail recipient
Sorry, it did not work for me in Windows Live Mail (Vista 64 bit laptop). It did open my email client but did not create a new email nor did it attach the item I had clicked on in FC. Thanks for trying. Toolbar button or/and keyboard shortcut would be nice, currently it's missing. I found a wo...

send to mail recipient
Is there a keyboard short cut or a way to put this command as a button on a toolbar? I cannot find a menu for sending as email, just a right click menu. Right now there are 3-4 steps: Right click click on Send to click on Mail recipient (then click on taskbar to complete the email) (OK I'm lazy but ...

open FC with c: expanded
Is there a way to have c: expanded when I open FC? When I open it now I have all the drives listed on the left side of each tree. I would like c: to be expanded to show all folders in the left side of each tree.

I worked it out in Windows 7 "personalizing" the "selected" item. NO problem now.

Color selected in file column
I have my Windows 7 (64 bit) computer personalized back to Windows Classic colors as I cannot see the text in the taskbar tabs in windows 7 colors. (I need black text not white) Since I changed that, I am having trouble with the colors in FC XE in the tree column (I have dual views of the tree colum...

Re: Icon for "email to"
So I would have to enter the email address every time? (Just setting up the sendtovb and the path to windows live mail just flashes. ) If so, that is a lot of work - or am I missing something? all I want to do is click on a file and be able to email it to someone.
TIA

Re: Icon for "email to"
Windows Live Mail on Vista 32 bit and Windows 7 64 bit Powerdesk has had file>email to with an icon since at least version 6 (which I am trying to replace with your program, quite successfully) but I am not familiar with programming and don't know how it works. It does not ask for the email program ...

Icon for "email to"
I would like an icon I can add to a toolbar that would bring up a "mail to" dialog for the selected file(s). Presently I right click the file, left click Send to, left click "mail recipient."

Re: Network favorite?
No problem this time - Just want to thank you for all the replies and help. I am loving many things about your program while getting used to the small differences from what I have used for a decade (Powerdesk).

Re: Network favorite?
I had tried to rename them but used the name v:\ which still was invisible. Using your sample (thank you for that) without symbols did the trick. This saves me a lot of trouble. I do move data from folder to folder to network many times a day.

Network favorite?
I move files from a catch-all folder to specific folders on a regular basis. I love being able to designate the often-used folders as favorites. But I also often copy to a shared network folder on another computer which is called drive v:\ If I try to make it a favorite, it shows up as a blank space...

Re: details column widths
By the way, using the hammer to configure autosize worked sometimes and reverted others. I edited the autosize to 0 in the ini and it seems to work better. I also changed the size as you suggested. So far so good. A work in progress

Re: Right click menu how to add Nero Burning Rom
Thanks again for your help. Yes I am using 64 bit Windows 7 on the computer I wrote about. What works is left Window key with right click. And it is easy to remember in this elderly brain! My ini file does not have a line ShowContectMenu64Bit=0 or =1 and doesn't seem to help if I add that to the ini...
