Hello,
The Settings option View > Tree > Management > Open favorites in a new tab
...only allows to choose one behavior or the other globally.
Would it be possible to implement that as right/left click distingo ? (same tab vs. new tab)
Thanks.
K.

File/Folder list regression : keyboard letter strike won't focus on first prefixed file/folder
Hello,
Am I wrong or - just as it still works on folders navigator pane (on the left) - striking a letter 'A', while focused on the file/folder list, should bring me to the first file starting by 'A' ?
I'm using FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 819 64-bit donor
Thanks

Save (overwrite) in image Viewer
Hello, The Image Viewer is extremely handy when it comes to browse a selected set of images. After altering an image though (flipping, cropping, rotating, etc.), the Save As button demands a new name and just saving under the same name (overwrite) requires not only to modify the suggested name but a...

FC is so flexible that sometimes you forget about the good'ol options
Thanks
(at some point, you may want to implement some of those advanced settings though)

810 : loosing FreeCommand Title bar as unchecking "Start Minimized"
Hello, Extremely weird bug : when I uncheck Settings > General > Start Minimized and restart app, I literally loose the title bar (and close, minimize, full-screen buttons and naturally the ability to drag and move the Window) If I check back "Start Minimized" and restart, all gets back to...

Re: Config options and actions to resize navigation panel against directory content
Hi Marek, Thanks for your quick answer (informative btw) I've made myself unclear : - the feature I'm talking about is not between active and passive panels - about the same idea but between tree navigator of each pane and its corresponding directory list/content When I resize FC window, the treelis...

Config options and actions to resize navigation panel against directory content
Hello, Some useful buttons exist to allocate 0, 25, 50 ou 100% of the window to each panel in dual-pane mode. None seem to exist however to proportionate each navigation pane against its corresponding file pane (?) (Both) my navigation panes tend to take too much space in the window (thus hiding mor...

Favorite toolbar : custom run-time arguments for custom tools
Hello, I have been using custom tools increasingly in a way of leveraging FC as a dual file selectors : those selections become handy arguments for a bunch of operations (directly or wrapped into batch/shell scripts). Now I feel the need for some custom arguments that could be prompted by a small po...

I probably got tacled by auto-updated Windows shortcuts (was running from a total different dir after moving previous release dir)
Sorry about that

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)
I dare a little bump here (since I feel the topic may be perceived as final, most of the hard work being already done) : - would it be possible to make those background colors ALSO visible in drop down lists from the menu Favorites or panel shortcut button Favorites ? (as of today, they are only in ...

Balancing width between tree and list in a single panel
Hello, I commonly use dual panel with a folder tree on each side in addition to a file list (4 actual sub-panels) Balancing and resizing is pretty well handled through different options between panels. However, balancing between tree and list sub-panels in each panel is quite arbitrarily proportiona...
