Sometimes, columns don't contain what they should
I have not been able to reproduce this, but every now and then, the columns get mixed up. The first column is fine, but starting with the second column, it displays the contents of the following column. The last one displays the contents of the second column. Label - Contents: 1) Name: ok 2) Extensi...

Re: Search: Allow file name to contain path
yes, this indeed does work.
though, it's really not very intuitive compared to "directory_I_know_already\init.pp", so it would still be good if this was possible.

Re: Search: Allow file name to contain path
No, this doesn't work as you are searching for every "init.pp" in every directory plus the directory "directory_I_know_already" itself.
As a result, you get all the 100+ files named "init.pp" that are in the directories parallel to "directory_I_know_already".

Re: Open multiple files from search result
To clarify: My request is about the "open multiple files by pressing enter" not the "FC doesn't show a confimation dialog".

Search: Allow file name to contain path
I would like to be able to search for files by specifying part of the complete path of that file. Reason is, I have several files "init.pp" in different sub-directories and I want to get the one that is inside a specific directory like this: "unknown_path\directory_I_know_already\init...

No, you apparently don't understand as you insist on using "1". But I give up trying to explain it to you...

Re: 690 - "RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu=0" shows context
@Timon: Please understand that we want the setting "0" - not "1" as you.
edit: and no, that will not be "for files only"

Then you should set "RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu=0" as this is what this thread is about.

Re: 690 - "RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu=0" shows context
I have set RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu=0 on purpose as the FC XE menu doesn't have all items that I want =)
FC has to know which file has been clicked, so it also shouldn't be a problem to show a different menu when the free space has been clicked.

Re: 690 - "RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu=0" shows context
Confirmed for build 700.
IMHO the behaviour should be adapted to that from Windows Explorer: When the right-click occurs on empty space instead of a file/folder, a different menu should be shown.
At the moment, I cannot use the "New > New text file" menu option.

697 - Delete key deletes converter instead of text
Steps to reproduce: - Open file search dialog - Create a converter - When inside the "Program" or "Parameters" text fields, you can press backspace to delete characters, but if you press the delete key, you will delete the converter itself instead of the character at cursor posit...

Go to dialog missing tab stop for one element
The button for opening the selection dialog (to choose a folder instead of typing it´s name) can not be reached by pressing the tab key. If you want to open it, you have to use the mouse. Should also be possible with the keyboard.
