It is still impossible to retain a selection of items in a Tab with a Plain View Mode applied to it, after switching to some other Tab and then going back to such view-plained Tab

For example: if in left panel the user has a tab with a folder which contains sub-folder X and in right panel has that sub-folder X opened in another tab, then the user can deleted that X in left panel and still see it contents in the right panel. When I pressed in a Panel e.g. >>W<< I was focused on first item which name was beginning with >>W<<. But I must have accidentally something turned ON or OFF as now the focus jumps to every item that has letter >>W<< in it How do I revert to that previous behavior? I am using Build 887 64-bit Donor ...
