Install plugins
I use 680 version. win7 (enterprise and Professional) serive pack 1. After installing viewer plugins (F3 -> F9, but I think the same happens for archiver plugins) the relative paths from my favorite toolbars get messed up. After restarting FC everything is fine though. This is not very annoying sinc...

Re: rename with info from video files?
FC has only a basic renamer (which is ok).
You should use an advanced renamer like http://www.advancedrenamer.com/ or http://www.den4b.com/?x=products&product=renamer

Re: About xdoc2txt
By the way, in search files/folder (alt+f7) -> Converter, when editing a filter, in inputboxes, backspace works fine, but delete button will delete the filter itself and it can't be retrieved. Maybe this behaviour should be changed? http://s4.postimg.org/4be8rvkwd/search_delete.gif xdoc2txt seems to...

Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings
Press ALT key and drag your favorite file/folder/program on desired place in the favorite toolbar. In case you didn't remark, also you can drag and drop selected files into the exe file in your favorite toolbar. In this case, the parameter for that exe file is ignored (let's say you put %ActiveDir%...

Re: File > Search > Subfolder filter : regex on full path
Thanks a lot, Timon.Timon wrote:Use in File Name: "\*Original; *.pdf" or "*.pdf; \*Original" (without quotes). Works fine for me.
I was missing ";" (multiple item divider).

Re: File > Search > Subfolder filter : regex on full path
Is there any help for this filter? I don't understand how it works... Let's say I want to find all pdf files in my D:\ drive that are in subfolders called "Original": http://i60.tinypic.com/2ahw65e.jpg it doesn't work... I tried also: http://i60.tinypic.com/152oq35.jpg but the result is wr...

Re: [Feature Request] drag&drop behaviour
For active window to stay on top see here -> http://www.howtogeek.com/196958/the-3-best-ways-to-make-a-window-always-on-top-on-windows/ You can use the command line options of that program. Simply select the files in FC and click enter. I always check to see what command line are available for a sof...

Re: Select all files (CTRL+A) and ENTER
I guess the workaround here is very simple - you open the desired folder, click on the first file and just then do CTRL+A and ENTER. As long as you remember that you need to do one more 'step', i.e. clicking or moving down on the first file, then the process is still pretty quick in my opinion. :sh...

Re: Select all files (CTRL+A) and ENTER
Thanks Timon. Maybe it would be possible to move this cursor on the first file when clicking with the mouse on the white area (where is nothing in that tab)? And then ctrl+a would select all files? What I needed was a way to select quickly all files in a folder (of course, in that folder should be o...

Select all files (CTRL+A) and ENTER
When I access a folder and select all files with CTRL+A, when I press ENTER the tab goes to the parent folder. I'd like to have all those files opened when I hit enter - this is what I'd expect at that point. And by the way, can the warning "Should all the selected items be really opened (not r...

Re: [Fav toolbar] Translate relative path to absolute path
Try defining a path relative to "FreeCommander.exe". Try "..\AutoIt\Scripts". For some reason, if I use your example the folder is opened in Windows Explorer and not in a tab. I would like to have it opened in a fc tab. Of course, for exe files the relative paths work, but not f...

[Fav toolbar] Translate relative path to absolute path
I prefer to use relative paths for my favorites.
If I use relative path for a folder in favorite toolbar, I got stuck with that folder in active tab. I can't move from there anymore.
I suppose the relative path must be change to absolute path before it is used in tab's address bar.
Thanks

Re: tutorial: how to crash FreeCommander
The same happens to me from version 669 to 671. So now I use 668.
