Drag&drop was never implemented for ftp. Try to use copy function (F5).

I do not know Swish but check the same place in FC as in Explorer. Mostly it is "Computer" - go to "Desktop" drive in FC and then select "Computer".

Try to deactivate the file tooltips: Settings - File/folder list.

You use "Use Windows" option for copy operation - have you tried "Use FC"?
If you use drag&drop - try to deactivate "Use blocking transfer".

With quick filter you can filter only current folder and not subfolders.
