i right click at the string and want to add \d$
so after right click and selecting "editing.." the \\server disappears

Why i am started this subject - first time i use quick search (let me name it so), i didn't see that field, so i didn't understand that i must press escape. I don't exactly remember what confused me, but something was there, so i looked for some field on the screen related to quick search and found ...

Let me please mention expensive analog - total commander. There are no such field at all, while typing.
The other example, i can't remember where i saw it - this field is more colorful, so it's a brighter, noticeable.
I think more colorful example is more preferable.
What do you think ?

I use donor preview, is it public ? I tried it on avi files - the same result (i can't find any reason i want to open few jpg's, really :) ) let me describe what i mean: 1. i open folder with mp3's 2. i press ctrl+a 3. i press enter what i wanted: aimp opens with all theese files at a playlist. what...

Now we can open "many selected files" but ONLY if cursor is on the one of them. Is it right ? Maybe this would be better to open selected files whenever cursor is ? I'm not sure, so i am asking you.

color of a typed text field

I can type some letters to move cursor on some folder, for example i type "mus" to move cursor to folder "music", so this field color is white, which is not a good one i guess, can i somehow change it's color at settings ?
