In File Explorer, I found that if you hold alt and double click a file then it opens the properties dialog.
Would be nice if FC had this. I've only found this shortcut and seems really handy.
Of course, there's alt+enter too which works in FC.

RESOLVED 847 - Icons have a black border
Some default and custom icons have a black border around them as shown attached.
I've attached one of the custom icons that I use for testing.

RESOLVED 847 - Icons that were included are not in latest build
See attached. These two are the ones that I've noticed anyway.
This is using the flat pro preset. The other option doesn't have these missing.

845 - Search dialog - Pressing F4 to edit or the toolbar doesn't open more than one item
1. Search say, some .txt files 2. Once the search has finished select 1 and then press F4. 3. That's all good. 4. Select two files and press F4. 5. That's all not good. 6. Only the last selected gets opened. Selecting more than one file doesn't work to edit in the search dialog as it does from the m...

Re: SUGGESTION - After cutting file to clipboard fade the icon as per File Explorer
I've also noticed when you right-click and cut a file in any view it doesn't change colour.
This is from the windows context menu.
It only has the correct dimming of the icon when you use CTRL+X.

Filter box - Mouse wheel and up down key will scroll through the previous filters
When the mouse is focused on the filter edit box. Having the scroll wheel to work for the mouse skipping through the filter would be nice.
Also. If the box is focused the up-down arrow keys could also allow skipping through any previous filters.

Search files/folders - Multiline box for the search text field
See attached.
I'm trying to search for text not containing here. For example, headers that don't contain the correct info etc.
The same for finding text.
Having a multiline edit option/box would be great.

Re: SOLVED - Toolbar - How to toggle between thumbnail and details view
Oh, I did try but I find myself needing to view the same directory differently a lot.
I've only set up some very basic rules for folders that I know I want to view a particular way.

Re: Toolbar - How to toggle between thumbnail and details view
That toggles between thumbnails and list view for me.
- If you set the thumbnail view
- Close FC
- Reopen FC
- Use the toggle button.
- It toggles to list view

I set this up before but I forget how.
I think there's a setting in the .ini file that needs to be changed if I'm not mistaken?

Re: Filter when keywords aren't found similar to the how quick search behaves
I have a 42 inch monitor and it's hard to spot the instant the panel goes blank when I'm focusing on the filter box at the lower right hand corner.
First World problem I know but that was my reasoning.

Filter when keywords aren't found similar to the how quick search behaves
Only a minor thing.
When using quick search it gives a bell warning when there are no files matching the user cannot type any more.
With the filter, it would be nice to have an indicator that no files match like the suggestion image and also prevent the user from typing any more.
