Re: Please Help

1. Apply flat view (CTRL+B). This means that you must be in the parent folder of the pictures folder (it will take a while to show all the files if there are a lot...) 2. In Quick filter you put some filter that will retrieve only 1 file for each subfolder (for example, img_0001). 3. Select all the ...

Re: Middle button for a specified opening of a shortcut

Another work around:
select the lnk file and then CTRL+arrow (left or right depending in which panel you are). This will open the folder in the opposite panel.

Re: Middle click item on favorite toolbar

First of all, thank you Marek for implementing this. My problem is, as I said before, with the relative paths used for an item in the favorite toolbar. If I use a relative path for an exe file, clicking on that item will work just fine. http://s32.postimg.org/6vsmgbv2d/Image_1.jpg If I use a relativ...

Re: Open directly subfolder if folder is empty (recursively)

All you can do is to write an exe that takes %ActivSel% as cmdline parameter and then starts Freecommander.exe with /C parameter -> see http://www.freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/FreeCommander.html?Commandlineparameters.html Here is an autoit script that should do that (at least I hope... :) I'm not a...

Re: Open directly subfolder if folder is empty (recursively)

I would suggest SHIFT+CRTL+B and then ALT+F9.
In plain view - folder, an folder that has no files (but have subfolders) has 0 size.
Also add "Path" column to details (to see the path and sort).

Re: Folder - Compare doesn't do anything

In my case, I get stuck in compare view. After Alt+V, I have to move from the current folder to get the normal view back. Pressing Alt+V again will do a new comparison, and will not return to the normal view. Also in this compare view, the files that exist in both side are hidden. I think in some pr...

Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings

I have just noticed something that some might find useful. When copying multiple selection with shift+F5, we can add a suffix for each selected item: http://s12.postimg.org/naz3pbq25/Image_22.jpg What is interesting is that if you try to insert a string as a prefix, each character of the prefix will...

http://www.forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5932&view=previous Change to third tab, Settings and click Save (Save dialog options for operation without dialog). It should work. And next time, when you copy with F5 the files should be automatically renamed. Anyway, it would be bett...

Middle click item on favorite toolbar

It would be nice if middle click on an item on a favorite toolbar would trigger "Open favorite target folder" in new tab of the active panel. By the way, Right click on an item on favorite toolbar ---> "Open favorite target folder" and "Show context menu of target item"...

Re: Compare filenames without extension

All I can think is to copy the file list (shift+alt+ins) of each folder in 2 separate files. In each file, delete the extension (you can use regex in notepad++ to be sure the extension is replaced only at the end of the line). And then compare the files with WinMerge (you need to set View->DiffConte...
