Confirmed in 899 64-bit donor portable.
Opening the file FreeCommander.chm manually works good.
BTW Online help link is below, as workaround.

Switch to tab also in other panel, if shortcut for path is used
When I use keyboard shortcuts to switch path, if the tab with that path is in the active panel, that tab is activated automatically. Anyway, I have some paths opened in the other panel, in this case, the path is opened in the same panel, active tab. My suggestion: If the path is available only in th...

Re: Address Bar does not succumb to HotkeyP setting for copying of data
I mean Alt+G, or right click address bar and select "Edit path", or middle click address bar. Path must be in this mode - text background should be blue, otherwise there is nothing to copy for HotkeyP. You can use - middle click to start edit mode, and then use your mouse shortcut for copy...

Re: Address Bar does not succumb to HotkeyP setting for copying of data
Are you using 64-bit version of HotkeyP?
It works good here, same command and parameters, HotkeyP 4.10 64-bit, FC 64-bit and 32-bit.
Is the address bar in FC in edit mode?
Are you using FC in normal mode - not as administrator?

Re: Multi-rename with F5, F6 & Search files/folders
If it's just about removing dots, it can be changed easily, even after copying/moving.
If it's more complicated, probably you should create a feature request and explain it.

Re: Thumbnails not displayed
I don't know, if it's possible to add any own cache for thumbanils in FC, probably it's not easy.
Workaround, use XnView temporary, it has its own cache, the problem in FC should be fixed in few days.

Re: Multi-rename with F5, F6 & Search files/folders
OK, so you'd like to multi-rename files + copy/move in one step? When copying/moving single file, you can rename it in the dialog, so the name will be changed on destination. Workaround / hint - you can copy/move the files to temporary folder in destination, then multi-rename files and then just mov...

Re: new user questions
Thanks. I don't know if this is the right place for feature requests, but I'd love to have 'new folder' and 'new file' available in the main context menu, rather than a subfolder. junkmarsh Forum Rules (Read First!) - FreeCommander Forum Feature Requests - FreeCommander Forum Workarounds for your r...

Re: 897 "Toggle selection" action doesn't work ?
It's a known bug, will be fixed in the next version.
Workaround, use action "Select all", or mouse shortcut "Toggle selection" for "Free space" for middle or right mouse button, it works good like this.

Re: 897 Access violation on thumbnail view
Could you provide more information, please?
Which thumbnail view, which size, which files, images, videos?
Which Windows version?
Is it every time, in any folder?
Could you test with default settings? Main menu - tools - start new instance of FreeCommander with default settings.

Re: losing "item colors" setting
[ItemColorsByFileType] is in both, freecommander.ini file and .colors - and if the new "item colors" are added, they are lost after changing the color scheme, not sure if it's OK. I think I suggested to change it, perhaps just preserve these options in both files, .ini and .colors and even...
