to reproduce, change window and size to something you like.
1. after maximize then restore, window size and position is correct. (ok)
2. now maximize then close FC, after restart, click to restore window size and position.

Re: favorite folders: FC start takes minutes (Not Responding
I meant favorite toolbars. after assigning local icons for all UNC folders, the start time went down to 1-2 sec. THANKS A LOT!!! what a relief!
this "trick" should be mentioned somewhere in the FAQ! thanks again!

Re: favorite folders: FC start takes minutes (Not Responding
I've created a video showing the start without favorites (4 sec.) and with favorites leading to a delayed start of 4.30 min:

Re: R581: incorrect quick filter size
the quick filter text box used to keep the same size in v2009.
there is not much sense to adapt its size to the status bar, as QF does not support multiple lines anyway.

Enhancement Quick Filter
ATM the quick filter is applied globally to each panel.
in my opinion, a better way is to apply an unique quick filter to each tab, therefore each tab would filter individually.

Re: Own copy function for better performance
even in the new XE version copying big files is a pain, as FC UI becomes pretty sluggish.
Support incl. documentation for third party copy functions (teracopy, nicecopier...) is still very appreciated.

Re: x64 support
in case you need 64 today, ask for the pascal source code, do some changes and compile it yourself using this compiler: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/ many cool apps were written in delphi, but for years embarcarcadero seems incapable to roll out a 64 bit version. maybe in the next version Delph...
