I agree and support this request! I think the Windows layout should be even default, because the former TC users should be able to change it. More suggestions: - F8 shouldn't be "delete" in Windows layout - F5 should be "copy" (not refresh) also in Win. layout IMHO ...Hmm.. it lo...

It's a known bug, selecting of thumbnails is quite unusable.

It's not the path. Open FreeCommander, in the menu select Extras, then Settings and go to "Start program" > Config file, then select the option "Specific for user...". Then each Windows user should have its own settings for this program. I'm not sure what you mean by "differ...

Strange, try to reinstall the program, close FC, rename the FreeCommander.ini file and start FC as administrator.

Try the option "Specific for user..." in menu > Extras > Settings > Start program > Config file.

Use embedded thumbnail, if available in the image file. They are created automatically and they are in most (all?) pictures created with the camera.

With this feature the thumbnails would be displayed immediatelly.

They are not cached, AFAIK.

I have no problem with png and other image editor on Win Vista.

Hmm.. don't know, it's a very strange problem. For example, when I search in 2 'bad' subfolders, search works good, in one subfolder it doesn't work good, but in parent folder with all these subfolders it doesn't work either. The files are the normal JPG files, just renamed with suffix .jpg_original...

I don't think it's possible.

I have a similar problem. Search in folder with few subfolders. There are many jpg files inside each folder and backup files with extension .jpg_original. I have deleted all files with .jpg_original extension, but I found many files with .jpg_original in few subfolders, so I tried Search again, but ...
