Re: Not seeing my cellphone OR my Canon EOS70D DSLR
Yes, I can do these actions....but as a File Manager...why do these drives NOT show up along with all my other drives (I'm talking about showing "above" the main window in an area showing drives)? I have 8 server shares that automatically show up there. I shouldn't have to drill down into ...

Not seeing my cellphone OR my Canon EOS70D DSLR
I notice that when I plug either my cellphone or my EOS70D DSLR into my PC, that Free Commander doesn't show them (Windows Explorer does).
Is there some setting somewhere that I need to change?
Thanks,
K

Main display incorrect when showing DVD label?
On the main display in FCXE and when looking at three DVDs which have labels of xxxx_DVD_1, xxxx_DVD_2 and xxxx_DVD_3...I only see xxxx_DVD_1. However, when I go to the DVD properties I see the correct volume labels of xxx_DVD_1, xxx_DVD_2 and xxx_DVD_3. Is this a known bug? EDIT1 ----- Well, I down...

Network share timeouts?
I notice when I have my server off and have FC configured to see those shares that FC takes a long time coming up when first invoked (timeouts?) and then "often" shows me the blue circle (waiting) when I try to do anything (about 20-30 seconds each time). Are there any configuration parame...

Use of FreeCommander with a server
I use a Windows Home Server. When starting FC and when left showing a network drive location from the previous FC close...is there any setting to tell FC to not wait for a timeout on the network location? Maybe to default to showing C: on both panes?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Copying photos from my phone to my PC
Thank you. I guess, to me, that wasn't intuitively obvious. File Explorer shows the camera up immediately when I open it. All I have to do now is remember that <g>.
Thanks again for the prompt reply.

Copying photos from my phone to my PC
When I fire up FreeCommander, it doesn't "see" my phone whereas File/Windows Explorer does.
Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed in FreeCommander that sees USB connected devices?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Make starting folder/root of Tree display user-selectabl
Yes, but it helped me though . I have just downloaded FreeCommander to try as I have been messed around by Avanquest and their Powerdesk product (which I have licensed and used for 10 years plus). I had Powerdesk on 3 PCs. One of them just stopped working (all three copies were under one license). ...
