I also have noticed this problem starting in Release 723. I have to click the file name many times before rename works, but sometimes it works right away.
Several times I have had to use the F2 key to force rename.

Re: copy via shortcut control + c not working
Confirmed in FCXE R-723 64-bit on Win 10 x64
However, if you right click the selection in the quick view window and select copy, it works fine.

Re: Right panel doesn't show folder sizes
It works fine for me. Right and Left panels.
Be sure you have selected a folder in the file list and not the Tree when you press Alt-F9.

Re: 721 - Custom category icons are not loaded
Marek, I have to disagree with you. If I select the integrate with main toolbar, the first icon in my favorite toolbar does not display. If I edit the favorite toolbar and move the first item to the second position, that icon will display, but always the first icon does not display. This happens no ...

Re: Interface not registered
Do you get the same error when you try to open the same files with a double click using Window Explorer?
BTW: It might be helpful to know what version of Windows you are using and what version of Free Commander XE.

[718] Doesn't handle dropped network share
I was testing the new release 718 with network shares and found that it did not handle a share name that was closed very well. As this image shows. It is very repeatable. http://imgur.com/iZ0QQfI.png Just open a network share in left pane (while it is connected). Switch to another share or drive in ...

Re: How to speedup start of FC? Needs 22 seconds (!) here
On my 5 year old system (CPU i5-750, 8GB ram, Win 7 64 bit) FCXE version 715 starts in about 2 seconds.
Try starting FC with the default settings. You may have set the starting folders to a network share which is not available.

Re: Simple file rename question
It works fine for me on both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
After you select the file, make sure your next click is on the filename text, not on the icon.

Re: Main window title - Pattern
I use the string "FCXEx64 (R-[release]) [path]" and see the title FCXEx64 (R-700) D:\folder1 - FreeCommander XE and if I add [platform] to the string, I get: FCXEx64 (R-700) D:\folder1 - FreeCommander XE 64 bit It does not seem to matter where [platform] is placed, 64 bit {or 32 bit} is pl...

Re: R697 - New Option GoUpFromDriveEnabled
OK, so I tried the new option GoUpFromDriveEnabled=0 in the File Pane and it does stop at the drive as designed. However, the action in the Tree Pane is changed as well. I am using the "Base folder" Desktop option. When the program is started, with an initial folder at D:\TopDir\SubDir, th...

R697 - New Option GoUpFromDriveEnabled
I set the option GoUpFromDriveEnabled=0 in the [form] section of FreeCommander.ini to test it out. It worked the first time after program start, in the default tree of a 2 panel display. However, after I switched to the other panel tree, the backspace would take the highlight up to Computer and not ...

Defaults for Unpack Zip File
I request a change to the "Unpack" (Alt-F6) function for the default value of "Unpack in subfolder" to NOT be selected each time. This could be a remembered setting like "Use current folder" or just not check the box. I discussed this in an earlier post http://www.forum...
