FC 804 Portable, delete the contents of "FreeCommander.hist"

Hello everybody,
how can I delete the contents of the FreeCommander.hist file?

I have
- history pop up menü deleted
- deleted the content with the editor
- complete file deleted.
After restarting the FC, the content and the file was always almost identical again.
I did not find any settings on the subject.
