Automatic favorites?

Hi,
how can I enable automatic favourites like in Windows Explorer?
What I mean is, in Windows explorer, as tedious as it is, but it automatically adds a currently or often used folder to the favourites (quick access). Can I activate this function in FreeCommander? It seems to be the only (important) feature missing. I am sure somebody thought of it before.
how can I pop up FreeCommander instead of Windows Explorer within various programmes, e.g. attach files in an Email programme or similar?
